breathing in, breathing out. Not as easy as it sounds like!

ABOUT ME

In July 2010 I returned from 10 month of Istanbul. It was a great time and learned a lot about myself and other people. I've been trying to adopt to Munich and Germany in general again. So far it was okay. A few more personal things about me:
Pretty much everybody's first impression about me is: a) oh, she's such a colourful person b) she laughs a lot c)she doesn't know how to hold a spoon proberly...
This is all true, in a way, I am laughing a lot, I like talking to people and I always spill my food. I also have a weird way of looking at things but most people have to admit that I got my point when I explain them the matter.
I like yoga, I like sunny weather, I like travelling, I like hanging out with old friends, I like playing with children. I like talking but I know how to listen, too.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life's a bitch and then you die"

You know, I don't necessarily mean it in a negative way. I think it simply expresses in a very catchy way that life simply isn't fair. That's a plain fact. So don't expect it to be that way. Keep on breathing and move on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted by a really nice guy in Ireland for almost a week what raised my faith into this project immensely.
I met my Turkish boyfriend on a couchsurfing party! Yes, couchsurfing is working for me!
All the people I met on couchsurfing were really nice and I don't want to miss any of these experiences.

Música, películas y libros

I forget books and films so quickly! But I like it when people suffer, no matter if it's in music (John Frusciante, the god of suffering), movies (Dancer in the Dark) or books (Naomi and Alan, a children's book that is incredibly touching).

Algo increíble que he hecho

This funny little beetle in Thailand that had a hairy back and used its funny trunk to put things on its back where they would stick because of the hairs. Lovely!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

My crazy, weird grandmother taught me the following trick how to dry your laundry while travelling quickly:
- wash your laundry
- wring as much water out of it as possible
- place it then on a dry towel
- roll it up
- squeeze it as hard as you can, maybe even step on it
-> the result: the laundry is almost dry already, just let it get really dry over night!
