About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To create a life so awesome that I can't wait to wake up every morning!
ABOUT ME
I am passionate about the arts - to the point of building a career of employing them to assist in revealing, recovery and facilitating change for folks in need. I love nature (especially forest, water and rock). I also love to dance, sing, play (world percussion or whatever) and am intrigued by the human psyche. One of my favourite indulgences is thrift store shopping, I am enthralled by indigenous art and lore, wish to explore the world and its peoples by living, not through a TV screen. I like to watch movies, attend live music events (recently feeding a liking for the blues) and have an insatiable curiosity about life.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life with gratitude and respect as best is humanly possible for me at the moment. I don't wish to waste a single day, I avoid self-pity or recrimination/regret, yearn for authentic connections, want play to be work and work to be play.

Music, Movies, and Books
Independent artists, folk, blues, world music. Haven't read much fiction lately - too involved with school reading (expressive arts application for therapy, psychology, etc. Enjoyed Margaret Laurence, Nicholas Sparks, John Steinbeck. I like all kinds of movies (except really bloody war ones)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The sunsets in Maui were breathtaking, playing frame drums with Inuit dancers was transcendent. The Swiss Alps are stunning, Long Beach on Vancouver Island is magical, the caves near San Antonio were amazing, eating fresh strawberries stolen from an Anaheim field were delicious, London didn't turn my crank, my heart fell in love with Lucerne, Dawson City was a blast, I could have stayed in Haines, Alaska for months, the northern lights in the Yukon blew me away, eating bannock in Moose Factory was fun, Big Ben shimmers when the sun is setting. Once I ate a raw scallop that wiggled in my mouth in New Brunswick. I swallowed that REALLY fast!
