HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a couch surfer, am willing to host people (even though not many come to my area), and I like meeting other local couchsurferes to meet friends with similar interests

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveld across Italy couch surfing with two of my close friends and had a wonderful time. I only regret I did not know about it sooner for some of my previous trips. I really enjoy that you get to meet people and enjoy a different point of view rather than just go somewhere to see something.

兴趣

Animals of all kinds, since I am a vet student after all. Travel of course. Skiing in the Colorado Rockies, horseback riding, having a really long relaxed dinner with family or friends, listening to good music, and general socializing.

音乐、电影和书籍

As far as movies go I like anything with a well thought out plot and believable characters. Not so much into cliche movies but they can be fun now and then. Music taste is all over the place, but mostly alternative rock. Books are something I can never get enough of, but not sure if I could name one favorite. Lonely Planet series is deffinately travel book of choice.

It's quite impossible to pick one thing so I'll stick to the highlights. I have gotten to capture wild giraffes, hippos, and rhinos in Africa, I've gotten to meet a member of the house of Lords in the British parlament, I've seen a goat sacrifice ritual in rural India, I've bathed elephants in a river, I've wandered the streets of Rome at night, I've performed surgery on an animal and it has survived to be placed in a happy home.
