COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am in the process of finding my first couch!

I'm studying to be an elementary teacher. I want to teach ELL (English as a learned language, it used to be ESL) and I'm minoring in Spanish and music.

MUSIC-I play the flute in orchestra and with a rock and roll band (classic rock from 60's 70's). I also give about 16 flute lessons a week to kids from as young as 7 years old to high school and college kids. If you like "hippie" music or classical music or just comparing tastes, I could talk forever with you! I love going to concerts; recently I've been to the music festival called Wakarusa and it's a great time with friendly, stinking people who don't shower except for rain or swimming in a gross lake-you camp out for 3 or 4 nights! I also like to read, photography, my family, meeting people, spending time with friends, seeing new places and things with history and animals. I love and miss my dog Layla sooo much.
