About Me

ABOUT ME

i dont really know what to write - i'm pretty easy going, by definition i am a young single mum and its great..beyond that...i am mainly vegan (with the odd egg or blue cheese bender!), i like food, music ,creativity, beauty, actually i like lots of things ,and i'm always open to discovering more. sometimes i rant on a bit about stuff like social oppression and supermarkets, but feel free to ignore...probably best to make up your own mind.

I'll tell you about Freya though as if you meet me you will be meeting her too. Freya is awesome, she is 2 and a few months old, really getting the hang of talking,(recently she has learned the word anarchist, i was proud!) she jumps around quite a bit and runs round in circles to get dizzy, and loves drawing and painting, drumming, sandcastles, dancing, exploring, books, people, animals, bikes, tractors, playing pretend, chocolate cake (although only on special occasions!) etc... probably these are the general pleasures of the average 2 year old, really though she is super cool and very easy to please. in my opinion she's the best person ever, so hopefully you'll like her too!

PHILOSOPHY

don't put me in a box... love each other and ourselves, everything or everyone either is or was and can be beautiful. its the appreciation of this that makes our lives in this system of oppression so frustrating, but with that understanding comes empowerment - we can change it for the better, and love conquers all. maybe?
that, or i sometimes sway towards nihilism..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couchsurfing project, but hopefully i will have more to write here soon. I guess unnofficially i've hosted people on my couch and stayed on other peoples sofa's a fair bit too!
a friend i met in the summer stayed a few nights and we had some great chats - i learned about biodynamic gardening (and now i want to know much more!) and i guess she gained insights into life with a child and vegan cookery...that was pretty great, and it was nina who's inspired me to make a proper profile..
