HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just hosting my first offical couch surfers now, Aug 17th to 20th. (I met Sarah through Craigs list before knowing about Couch surfing) These 4 exchange students who are also delightful. I look forward to hosting more 20 somethings, and all ages really.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining, I had a whole house full of strangers from Craigs list here during the 2007 SxSW Music and Film Fest. Two were musicians participating in SXSW which made it all the more interesting. I have since hosted 4 exchange students from San Angelo University, each from a different part of the world, and 3 German brothers. I have only surfed myself once in Berkeley and found it delightful.

Interests

Kundalini Yogo, ecstatic dance, InterPlay, swimming, alternative health care, healthy food with occassional slips; love,live & serve. VERY light alcohol, 480 tolerant, but I prefer to obstain myself.
As long as your use is light and done outside, I am tolerant. NO HARD DRUG USERS please.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Truth telling documentaries, film festivals, nature shows, Whale Rider, Crash, Saving Grace, Simon Birch...Liar, Liar?? (what can I say..Jim Carey makes me laugh)

Music: World beat, meditation, folk...all kinds really; I also enjoy silence

Books: Eastern spiritual and selective esoteric, feminist philosophy & theology, health, poetry, not too many novels for some reason. Enjoyed Eat,Love Pray, Clan of the Cave Bear, Ya Ya Sisterhood, Da Vinci Code

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling with an amazing Maori Spiritual Elder/Whale Rider (prior to the book or movie) to the sacred sites in England and Scottland. According to the prophecy of his people, the Waiteha, which is a matriarchal tribe, these ceremonies would eventually be done to help Re-awaken the Divine Feminine on the planet. He and other women went to all the ancient sacred sites and did the cermomy. From all I see happening around me, it just might have worked!
Also, Kierkenhoff Tulip gardens outside of Amsterdam, when tulips are in full bloom ! YUMMM! Salzburg, Germany, Brugge, Paris, Florence, Canada, Mexico.
Next stop over seas? India, Africa, New Zealand, Austrailia

Teach, Learn, Share

I can occassionally share helpful even profound insights from an armchair astrologer's point of veiw, and have a healthy sense of humor about it and other things. I enjoy cooking heathly, tasty, simple meals for others. Raw food and macrobiotic aspirations, but will occassionaly eat animal and fish products
