About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Visiting the Valley and the states for the first time!
ABOUT ME
Swedish guy, feeling very out-of-place being in Sweden, and probably won't for very long. Currently finishing a masters in computer science. Needs to travel every six months or so, so as to avoid self-destruction.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life for me and believe everyone has to. If you don't care about yourself, who will?
If you think this means that I do not care for other people you've not understood. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm hosting and infrequently using it myself for traveling, last time in June, 2008.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I made a Interrail trip in June of 2008. That's when I signed up for this. So I had no prior hosting experience when I started surfing, together with a friend, but it was OK. We traveled:
Gothenburg -> Copenhagen (on non-interrail pass, to get us outside of the country)
Copenhagen -> Zürich (via lots of stops during the night in German ruhrland)
Zürich -> Venice (CS:ed)
Venice -> Bologna (CS:ed)
Bologna -> Rome (camping hut - CS-fail)
Rome -> Genoa (cute little hostel - CS-fail)
Genoa -> Nice (CS:ed)
Nice -> Montpellier (stayed at relatives place)
Montpellier -> Toulouse (stayed at Erasmus acquaintance)
Toulouse -> Barcelona (hostel - couchsearching 8 days in advance proved to be a huge CS-fail here.. at least for 2 dudes)
Barcelona -> Valencia (Erasmus acquaintances)
Valencia -> Madrid (bus)
Madrid -> Gothenburg (ryan air :( )
Since then, roughly August 2008, I've been hosting.
I've exchanged beds with Erasmus/foreign students within Spain when I did my Erasmus there. And in other parts of Europe and Brazil as well.
Interests
Traveling, watching good TV series, and eating deserts wishing they just pass through the body.
I got a RC Helicopter recently because I always thought it would be fun to have one since I was a child and now I had the opportunity to buy one, but it has just stood there in the shelf. :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I sat with my legs over the edge of the Preikestolen i Norway ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Norway_Preikestolen.jpg ) which I the following two nights realized was a little bit crazy due to a certain trouble of sleeping. 604m free fall to the ground from there. Other than that I normally tend to avoid the most stupid Darwin-award-searching things.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to teach a philosophical axiom absolutely vital to human life: Existence exists.
