CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
Recently graduated from the University of Maine with a BA in Philosophy. There I ran cross-country and track. Upon graduating, I worked as a German teacher at a private elementary school and now I am going back to school to earn a PhD in Political philosophy. All the while training to become a better runner. Update: Now after 4 years of graduate school, I can put a PhD at the end of my name (though I still need to write my book on Nietzsche before I am a "Dr."). Currently, I am an amazing 1st grade teacher at an even more amazing school.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing moment in my life was finding myself in a pack of 10 or more accomplished runners during the 2009 Chicago Marathon. Within that pack we all helped to push each farther and faster. It just goes to show how important it is to establish community is in any situation.
