I have an alter ego who is a stuntman "Ernest the Magnifico"...Ernest plans to take over the world — one stunt, one gag, one adoring fan, one internationally-syndicated prime-time TV show at a time!...So expect to see him everywhere.

ABOUT ME

Well...Somehow about 6 years ago I became a street performer a "busker". Much of my time has been spent juggling in front of crowds, walking on tight ropes and making people laugh...Then...about a year ago I fell off my tightrope and broke my wrists. Whilst still under the influence of heavy painkillers I dreamed up a comic stuntman character. Im now travelling Europe, to perform my new show and visit amazing places.

PHILOSOPHY

Relax and enjoy the ride. Life is a myriad of experiences, colours and dreams. Sometimes life is easy sometimes not...it's all part of the ride. Enjoy it. you only have one ticket.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have informally couch surfed for years and also when I have a house I have hosted many people. I think we can learn so much from different types of people. I hope to share ways of living, ideas, to inspire and to be inspired.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was couch surfing at a friends house and another friend showed up to stay...Because I love the outdoors I decided to sleep on the couch out the front of the house. That way the house wouldn't be crowded.

This was fine for a few days but then I noticed a little tension in the house. I didn't know what the problem was until my friend told me that it was because I was sleeping just out the front of her room. She had a new boyfriend and they wanted to have sex but thought I was too close! I moved back inside and the tension was released!

Lately I've been listening to lots of ambient jazzy music (Tuatara from NZ is excellent) a bit of Nick Cave, Lou Reed. And a bit of German hip hop...

I'm reading "the God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy - I bought it cos it won a booker prize so I thought it would be great...Im still not convinced. Ive read 150 pages...I'll let you know.
