ABOUT ME

We are 2 kiwis recently back from 2 1/2 years of travelling, volunteering and working in Europe, the UK and South East Asia. We have had incredible experiences, met amazing people and learned a lot about ourselves in that time.

We have recently bought the house we live in. It is really exciting to own our own place but now we are dealing with all the responsibilities and costs of being landlords and of home ownership. We have a huge section with lots of work to do, we love it and enjoy sharing it with others. If anyone is keen to help clearing and planting on our section you are welcome!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are now settled in Wellington and have a fold out couch to offer - looking forward to meeting new people and sharing this beautiful country!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had wonderful hospitality and made great friends in Poland, Germany and Lithuania couch surfing. From March - May we were hosting on a weekly basis but requests have slowed down a bit over winter. Those we have hosted have been lots of fun and we enjoyed sharing travel stories, food and showing our new friends around.

We are into skiing, biking, walking, good vegetarian food, good music and of course traveling...

Drew is into electronics, wood working and Physics and I am into community organisations, yoga and I am currently learning Te Reo Maori. We are both greenies and get involved with a bit of Green Party stuff.

Working in an orphanage in Cambodia was a really incredible recent experience.

Traveling overland from Hanoi to Singapore.

Working the French Alps for a ski season, living at 2100 metres.
