ABOUT ME
I'm very relaxed, friendly, and outgoing. I'm currently working on my second bachelor's degree in Physics (with an emphasis on Medical Physics) from the University of Utah. I like to think I'm funny and interesting (but remember, I'm a physicist ;) The first bachelors degree is in Spanish and was obtained somewhat accidentally as I took "easy" Spanish classes to offset the other hard science classes in my schedule. I've spent a couple of summers trucking around South America; I'm really interested in history, and discovering the cultural nuances of different places: who people are and how they think. I'm an expert fly fisherman (even held a job for the State of Utah teaching people how to fish...unfortunately it didn't pay very well). I'm pretty easy to get along with, and I'm Mormon, so I don't drink, smoke, murder, etc. (but don't have a problem with people who do--except the murder part) I just like seeing the sites, meeting people, and learning about their experiences, community, and perspectives.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind. Everyone is fighting a harder battle

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read - Lord of the Rings is my favorite trilogy (yes, I'm kind of a geek). I spend a lot of time playing computer games (between studies, of course) and I love movies - you know, the ones that you have to watch five times to finally "get".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to Machu Piccu last summer
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I can teach a whole bunch of really cool physics principles, and would be more than happy to set up a demonstration at anyone's house if they could arrange to have a very large electro-magnet and a few dozen empty aluminum cans :) Seriously though, I love to talk philosophy, culture, spanish... anything. I've been to south America and have some great stories to tell.
