I've met a lot of great people during my travels - people who helped me out a lot and didn't have to. I was always surprised by the generosity of random people, and hope I can put a little bit of that kindness back into the system. Karma.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went from my backwards little town to the backwaters of the Amazon. I didn't speak the language. I survived the bugs, heat, humidity, clothes rotting, feet rotting, thorns, intestinal distress. I made friends through my actions when words failed. I learned the language. I want to go back. I'm going back.
