I want to meet open-minded/hearted people coming to Dublin and when I travel. I want to be a local and meet the locals and do whatever local people do.

ABOUT ME

Open-minded. A lover of difference. A hippie at heart (peace, love and harmony), though I do work. A traveler at heart. Africa is the only continent I've yet to get to. I am currently in S.America, visiting Venezuela, Colombia and Peru. I'm gregarious, patient and easy-going, and tend to be able to make others laugh and lighten the mood.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am travelling at the moment and reaping the bliss that is CS. People in CS are so friendly and really offer complete strangers - mi casa es tu casa. I couldn`t believe it at first. It`s amazing. When I get home I will be happy to meet people and show them around, share my friends and put them up if I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Currently travelling in Venezuela and on to Colombia. CS has changed my travelling experience and made a good thing absolutely marvellous. Instant friends - CSers are generally the salt of the earth, with big, open hearts and minds that they are only too willing to share with you. Couch Surfing Rocks!

Interessen

I like big conversations about who we are, current affairs, feelings, the meaning of it all and stupid humour. I wouldn't go so far as to say witty but I like to laugh and share good fun and good times. I like people who have the capacity to understand and share and I believe I am the same. I love music, the arts, learning to dance - and need practice, out and about and travel and cultures.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Films - comedies and dramas with good plots and a message. Something to make you think, and feel. I love; The Big Lebowski, Schindler`s List, Saving Private Ryan, Dancing With Wolves and other more obscure stuff that I probably never knew the name of in the first place, never mind remember.
Music - rock, soul, blues, world, traditional, some electro but it must make your ass shake, flat beat bum bum bores me.
Books - recently read; The Third Policeman (hilarious), The Iliad (where`s the ending?), currently on Catch-22 and a confusing Spanish dictionary and soon to read Papillon.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Carnaval in Brasil three times. Everyone just letting their hair down all at once. The bike ride down 3000m of off-road dusty, rocky and slippery track on dodgey bikes with 1000 foot drops near La Paz. Trekked up Mount Roraima on the Venezuelan/Brazilian/Guyanan border. Joined CouchSurfing.
