ABOUT ME

Funny story! I live in Georgetown the proclaimed #2 this year (#1 last year) for "best places to live and launch in America" located 26 miles from the capital of lovely eccentric Austin, dare I say I am proud? I better be, been here all my life... same house... the works. When I was a little kid (and before Georgetown became "popular") my parents sent me abroad to show me that the world was bigger than my backyard and that understanding and appreciateing different cultures would help promote world peace...(like my "mission statement" says) and yes my parents are very much hippie mentality. That is when my love for learning and embracing all things new and foreign came into play. I also with the hippie mentality would love to sell everything I own and travel the world (hitch hike if you would) but unfortunately that is not to safe and I always get that weird look when I explain to someone my plan for personal growth. Then like a miracle Couch surfing landed right in my lap about a month ago. I am much more connected with my community since!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Within the past month have been going as a unofficial CSer to CSer events/meet-ups so I know quite a few Austin CSer's already and have made some really great friends along the way. I would be interested in helping out with events and such just as a way to give back for everything Couch Surfing has given me already.
