ABOUT ME
You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore. Christopher Columbus, apparently;-)
For now, I am saving up money for a long, long trip, ideally south of Tropic of Cancer.
My dream gap year would be in Sydney, Australia, learning to surf, enjoying a hothothot January-February-March (yes, Polish winters have scarred me for life) and working, doing something related to my degree.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live. And be honest with yourself.

Music, Movies, and Books
REM. Radiohead. Indie. Lao Che.
British lit in general. History of art books. Poetry.
Not really into tv, don't own one (sorry, surfers!), wish I did only during Euro and World Cup, but there are 2 shows I do love - Battlestar Galactica and The West Wing (BSG or TWW dvd sets watched with best friend equal bliss). Of the ones still on the air - I enjoy The Big Bang Theory.
Cinema - anything Ridley Scott/Russell Crowe. In fact anything Ridley Scott and anything Russell Crowe too, even if they're not working together. Classical Polish comedies from 1950-1980's (they rocked, they really did). Generally smart cinema.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Have climbed the two highest mountains in Morocco - M'Gun and Toubkal. I still see the views in my dreams. And the star-covered endless sky I saw when I crawled out of my tent at 3am to get ready for the M'Gun trek. Talk about priceless. Seriously, still the best single view I have seen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I do not have any special skills, sadly. Do not play the piano, do not play chess, do not horse ride. Or anything of that kind.
I can obviously show you around Warsaw, will do it happily in fact:-), teach you some Polish, teach you to cook some basic Polish meals. Am also a good listener, especially of interesting stories.
I also have really awesome and fun friends who all speak perfect English so we could hang out in a bigger group and visiting surfers could interact with more than one 100% Poles:-D
