ABOUT ME

I like to travel in my holidays. when I'm at home and in the old routine, I don't have too much time to spend on my own or with my friends since I'm always busy making it through the day with all the schedules and tasks I'm occupied with. so I'm trying to ge around the world as much as possible in my sparetime. that doesn't necessarily mean that I have to travel to remote places. I also enjoy hiking through the nearby woods for a couple of days.

I read a lot. Some of my favorite writers are Stanislav Lem for his great and remarkably intelligent science fiction-stories, Ryszard Kapuscinski, who turned reportage into literature and some austrian authors of the early 20th century (Joseph Roth, Ödön von Horvath). I also like TC Boyle, Philip Roth, Thomas Bernhard, Hunter S. Thompson and Charles Bukowski.

I'm a great fan of reggae from ska to early dancehall.

I've been playing in a Ska band when I was in my twens and had gigs all over Europe, the US and Canada. I've met lots of interesting and/or crazy people and have been in a lot of weird and funny situations during that time. And ever since!
