ABOUT ME

I'm Loic, a dutchie. I like many things but have a passion for traveling, good conversations with a glass of wine, dancing, festivals, meeting new people and challenging each other and yourself.
I have studied medicine and specialized in International health care and tropical Medicine. Since then I worked on a hovercraft in Madagscar, for Medecins Sans Frontieres in South Sudan and Sierra Leone, on a big Bark sailing ship sailing from South Africa to Boston, as a tourguide in Amsterdam , and the future is still open ;). I love people who have an interesting story and think about what life has to offer and what you can offer life. Amsterdam is a great place and I would love to show you around!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned about couchsurfing through friends. And together we hitchhiked couchsurfing through Spain and Morocco. After that I also couchsurfed in France and Germany. It was a great experience! Most of the couchsurfing I did was "real life couch surfing", but the cuple I did trough the website were great experiences as well. I have hosted some people in my home town Amsterdam, but most of the time I have been abroad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of them are to be never forgotten, one is very very strange. In short; Morocco, middle of the night, doorbell, gangsters, very nice neighbours and the best host I could have possibly imagined! I'll tell you all about it.
