ABOUT ME

I spent two years working in Japan until last summer, then a couple of eventful months travelling through China and western Asia led me to the UK. I now live in London with my girlfriend, Nikki.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a good few couches but have never had the chance to host. Nikki has never surfed anyone's couch but hosted loads of people in Japan!

兴趣

driving long crooked roads for hours with music blasting and cigarette burning, drinking coffee and riding a train of thought, good heated conversation about all the topics your mother told you never to talk about with strangers (with strangers, naturally), hiking in the forest and checking out all of mother nature's little vibrant life-forms, staring at the stars when it's freezing cold out, losing track of the hours that pass when you're with someone who makes you happy, eating mystery foods, eating a good bowl of ramen, sports that have no need for winners and losers, cleaning the house, the car, myself, it doesn't matter, if it's dirty I like cleaning it. Playing with dogs... dogs are awesome.Music. (making music with my friends/ or strangers, listening to music, seeing live music... if I am still breathing, there will be music. Life is interesting enough to have its own soundtrack.)
Writing and Reading. In that order.
Seeing new places and new faces... riding the crazy train to Life-ville and getting off at the station and taking a good long hard look around.
Asking Questions.
Having the answer to Questions.
Coffee. (yes, this is a valid interest.)
The cosmos... learning whatever I can about space that doesn't involve wicked math that is beyond my comprehension.
People and why they do the things they do...
Romance... I am a hopeless romantic trapped in cynic's sub-conscious.
