ABOUT ME

My husband and I are Texans who have lived in the Czech Republic for 11 years. No kids. One VERY spoiled cat.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a lot of them. We are all just kids on the inside. Life is an adventure and a chance to learn. I'm not scared of death. I would be more afraid of not living well. We are all in this together and none of us are getting out alive so be forgiving, be kind and be compassionate. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about. "The right to be ridiculous is one that I hold dear." -Bono

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We surfed in Italy and I surfed alone in Istanbul and both times it was the best part of the trip. We've hosted several people as well and it's always fascinating.

Art, theater, travel obviously, climbing(though I haven't done much recently, reading, mission and relief work, cats and camels(my favorite animals), colors, textures, nature, I want to go everywhere and see everything

music-Raggae and ska are the happiest kinds of music in the world, you must love Bob! 30 Seconds to Mars, U2, Placebo, Street Drum Corps, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aerosmith, Creed, Dashboard Confessional, Dido, Jack Johnson, Linkin Park, Matisyahu, Natasha Bedingfield, P.O.D, Sheryl Crow, Il Harmonics-almost everything except country.
books-similar to movies-fantasty, mystery, adventure but also spiritual writings- love C.S. Lewis and not just for Narnia.
