About Me

AVAILABILITY

At the moment I don't have a room, as I travel through Europe by foot. Hopefully I can now be a guest sometimes.... :-)

CURRENT MISSION

Walking joyful, gently & reverently

ABOUT ME

I was born in 1979 in Nijmegen. I Grew up in a small village and my kindergarten was in the forest. When I moved to Rotterdam at the age of 5, I thought that to be pretty cool. I didn't know I truly loved the country side so much, and slowly I forgot about it... Luckily I found a substitute for nature: a field with 22 boys to play on: Soccer. Imagine 22 different viewpoints on the ball, that's like infinity amount of possibilities even with just some creative players. And creative I am. At the age of 8, I decided in my whise Self (which I was not aware of at the time) to always stay young. Period.

Which worked very well... uhhh...: I didn't do my homework in my young years, I got ill in my twenties, when I worked to long for a boss or if I didn't sleep, and I still get ill if I work to long for someone else. I still feel so young inside, although now with a very well sense that I am adult, which comes with responsibilities for the path I walk, which for me is all about Love, love and love.

I'm not sure if above tells you anything about MySelf. It is more my history and informs you about little me. We can meet in the moment and experience that richness together. That moment, to get to know each other.

The simple experience of hosting or being host and meeting you is simply enough. All else is a bonus.

Music, Movies, and Books

Someone told me once: "Every last book I read is the best book I read." I love that... (And not always true) So ask me which book I'm reading now.... "The secret of Laughter; Ancient tales from Persia" is the last one (Jan 2015)... No: "Franciscus from Assisi". (Summer 2015)

Movies: I loved the animation movie "Spirit". "Twin Sisters" I enjoyed a lot, "As it is in heaven made me cry. I really enjoy documentaries, showing people in their element and really contributing to a healthy planet and loving society. Like the short documentary about the Forest man from India: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkZDSqyE1do. Queen of te sun, about the bees: http://www.queenofthesun.com. I was deeply moved by 'The animal communicator'. This is the last part of the documentary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvwHHMEDdT0. 'Good things await' I enjoyed: https://vimeo.com/103508293. That kind of movies I really enjoy to watch. Lately I haven't watched any movie for a year now.

Sometimes I do enjoy Hollywood productions. The ones I liked Noah, Avatar, Liar liar, that kind. But less and less and less. Mainly because I can't handle all the violence anymore.

Inspiring talks, I used to watch a lot on TED. Not so much anymore. Lately the talk from "a son of a terrorist" on TED, I felt a deep deep courage and respect for that man. https://www.ted.com/talks/zak_ebrahim_i_am_the_son_of_a_terrorist_here_s_how_i_chose_peace?language=en.
'Life is simple', from John. I met John in Thailand and his way of moving and walking touched me, even more then his talk. I learned a lot from just watching him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21j_OCNLuYg

Little bit of Science? The banned talk on TED from Rupert. Really the first time
I enjoyed listening to a scientist. Just hilarious and yet so full of truth. It shows the default in the biggest religion in humanity now: science... And it shows an answer from a scientific approach... Haha... Great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKHUaNAxsTg

A few years ago I enjoyed:
Shining Eyes: http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/eng/benjamin_zander_on_music_and_passion.html.
Education: http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/eng/ken_robinson_says_schools_kill_creativity.html

For news I mainly look at Facebook from "FB friends". I really gain little information at the moment. Although...: Watching the birds, the sky, the trees... Feeling the ground, the earth... Sensing the tension and openness in my body... All that is for me valuable information.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me there is nothing better involving you by sharing my experiences, when it comes as it comes... And vice versa...

Teach, Learn, Share

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeee like a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeheeeeeeeeeee....

On the ground
On the ground
On the ground of mother Earth Nature

What I Can Share with Hosts

It all depends on the connection and the moment: the environment, the setting, the moment, the vibe, the smell, the flower, the tree outside, the butterfly, the closed or open door, the love, visible or invisible, the attitude, the desire, the force, will or be, whatever, it's ok...

I tend to be silence in joy for what is, and explore from that subtle inner movement. More and more that exploration comes without effort... Still it happens that I'm lost in doing nice instead of being nice.
