To meet as many people as humanly possible, and to have a beer with every one of them!
We are a married veg*n couple, living in Melbourne's beautiful Dandenong Mountain Range. We are both animal lovers/activists, and we share our home with two beautiful cats, one gorgeous but slightly deformed dog and various resident native birds and furry critters that come to visit. We are very laid back, fun people who love nothing more than laughing and having a beer with our friends (old and new). We are both environmentally and socially concerned and active, but with a positive outlook on life and a sense of humour.
We are both emergency services volunteers and active members in our local (awesome) community of Emerald.

It's not really possible to live everyday as if it were your last, but you should never ignore the fact that your days are limited, and ticking by very, very quickly... make 'em count.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have plenty of room to offer, and enough spare time to show people around. We love the idea of making new friends, and helping people to discover this beautiful place that we live in.
We have hosted a lot of people now, and are consistently amazed by the wonderful and fascinating people that keep turning up on our doorstep.
Apart from hosting, we have also couch surfed in New Zealand, Fiji, France, Italy and the USA.
Animals, environmentalism, SCUBA diving, reading, social issues, music, riding our motorbikes, photography, brewing beer, traveling, cooking, the odd drink or two, hiking, camping, the beach, wasting time online, meeting new people and general ADVENTURE!
Making up for lost time!
