ABOUT ME
Well, as you can tell form the basic information I'm 29 years old and I finish my Master at Roskilde University in December last year - and that's very exciting. I'm an outgoing person (like any CS'er I guess) who loves an active lifestyle.
Four years ago I started practising capoeira and I fell in love with it immediately. I've bin practising three-four times a week more or less constantly ever since and I still get a kick from it. Capoeria makes my fly physically and mentally. My group is Quilombo Do Norte and our group has it's roots in Belo Horizonte, Brazil at Grupo Ginga with mestre Agostinho.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others like you want them to treat you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I took a brak from CS in 2010-2011 since I had a lot of stuff going on at that time - especially with finishing my education. But also with the capoeria "madness". However, now I'm back.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've mostly been hosting since I joined CS - nine people to be more exact. I've been surfing only three times - in London a few years ago, in Albania two summers ago and recently in Rio de Janeiro, or Niteroi to be more exact.
All my CS experiences have bin fun, exciting and educational.
Interests
I'm interested in a lot of things but my top five must be something like:

Music, Movies, and Books
One of my all time favorite movies is The Big Lebowski. Some really goods movies I saw recently was The Pianist and Waste Land. In general I very much enjoy movies but I'm actually not much in to reading books - fiction that is. One book that I read recently that I can really recommend is Ecological economics and sustainable development by Herman E. Daly. It's a fantastic read about the need for a different economy in order to realize sustainability.
At the moment I'm diving in to the world of Brazilian music. Samba, Forro and so on. It's wonderfull.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quite a few and impossible to describe just like that. But again I have to say meeting and getting in to the world of capoeira is a major thing for me. The incredible energy, the amazing people and the community and much more has given me so much.
Once I climbed the "Moses-mountain" in Egypt. It was pitch black because there where no light from human activities in many miles and the moon was only a thin nail. This resultet in the most magnificent sky I have ever seen with millions of stars.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really want to learn Portuguese. I'd love to teach anything from Danish culture if you are interested...
