About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live & learn like everyone else!

ABOUT ME

I live in the a Tibetan exile community called Dharamsala on the foothills of the Indian Himalayas where I have a cafe called Common Grounds. It runs in conjunction with a nonprofit we recently started that works on innovative methods of facilitating dialogue and common grounds of shared understanding between Chinese and Tibetan people.

The rest of my time is spent studying Tibetan, brushing up on my Chinese, trying to learn kung fu, planning our weekly community events, scheming of ideas and future possibilities and always, dreaming...

Otherwise, when I can put work on hold and get out of my bubble, I'm on the road trying to learn more about this world of ours!

PHILOSOPHY

"If you did everything you were capable of doing, you would literally astound yourself." -Thomas Edison...ding ding ding!

Music, Movies, and Books

The God of Small Things by Arunhathi Roy is probably my favorite, A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry... Also The Curious Insident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon. The Book of Bunny Suicides is in a league of its own though...I'm cracking up now just thinking about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping head first down a 160 meter gorge was pretty thrilling I must say, thump thump thump my heart went...
