ABOUT ME

I was raised on the Oregon coast, spent some time in CO, then Arcata, CA, wandered the world for a bit, and eventually found my way back to my coastal roots.

I am easy going and upbeat, always laughing and being silly. I care most about those I love and am constantly excited to meet new people, particularly over a good meal.

I am madly in love with the world and passionate about so many things.

PHILOSOPHY

I am constantly surprised and amazed by how beautiful, strange and tragic this life is.

I am rarely found without a smile on my face or a laugh bubbling up....I see no reason not to enjoy this one life we're given.

I feel strongly that it is my responsibility to serve and to leave the world a better place....and I do this in a variety of ways in my daily life.

I am passionate and excited and wake up each day eager to see what will come next.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a few people and had some great experiences. I have yet to use couchsurfing myself when traveling. I look forward to meeting more interesting characters!

Good food and drinks

Music, music, MUSIC! Singing, with anyone who will join me, live shows, impromptu jam sessions, and generally blasting tunes at loud volumes at all times.

Reading! I think I could be content on a deserted island as long as I had a neverending supply of books. I love to talk books as well, and don't be surprised if you leave our meeting with a few recommendations for your next read.

Jewelry (making, wearing, admiring), painting, tea drinking, frisbee tossing, surfing, dancing, hiking, cooking, creating community, travel.
