ABOUT ME

It is a myth that Finnish people are shy and not talkative, or at least I am an exception to the rule. I am a very social and positive girl. I like to laugh and for what I've heard, I do it a lot. I appreciate people who are honest, have a good sense of humour and positive outlook on life. And good manners too!

PHILOSOPHY

You only get one life, and you should enjoy every moment of it, so you won't have any regrets. There are always awesome, interesting, new people to be discovered, and you should never stop looking. Never trust generalisations, and try to get rid of any prejudices. "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." like Jimi Hendrix once said.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer my couch for people who are travelling here in Finland and need a place to stay. I can also show them around Mikkeli and introduce them to some of my friends. I think I will try couch surfing myself in the future, before I do my exchange studies in Germany.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some people seem to be taking couch surfing as a dating service, and it is definately NOT that for me.

Interesses

Travelling, different cultures and countries, and especially the people. I enjoy watching movies and I do read books when I feel like it. I am very interested in interior designs, which I might study in the future. Mostly on my free time I hang around with my friends, we go out for coffee or drinking, we cook, watch movies and play games.
