About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see as many places as I can, meet as many people as I can, and learn as much as I can about life in general.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in upstate NY but always traveled, even in my younger years because of a burning desire to see what else is out there, and make friends along the way. I have lived in either Philadelphia, New York, Louisiana, LA, or San Francisco off and on among other places, and stayed in Italy when I was 16 as an exchange student. In 2011 I did a help exchange program in Switzerland for a little over a month and did an Ironman triathlon while I was there. My friends would describe me as a goofy and energetic guy who's always doing something wacky.
PHILOSOPHY
Never stop growing, but never grow up
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think the great part of couchsurfing is meeting new and interesting people, so I try to do my part by being hospitable to them and also to bring my good vibes to people who are willing to host me
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The last 2 places I have lived had 2 couch surfers each so that's how I became aware of it. I surfed in montreal with my most recent roommates and had a total blast meeting the local people and having a much more interesting and personal travel experience than we would have had otherwise. In Iceland I couch surfed with 2 different sets of people who made it a lot more fun to circumnavigate the country by bike. While living in Pittsfield, MA, couchsurfing helped connect me with a few other people in the area. My roommates and I also hosted a lovely girl from denmark.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode my bike around the perimeter of Iceland for 1 month with my friend Lea, and using only my right leg to pedal (my left knee was busted).
Teach, Learn, Share
If you ever wanted to get into swimming, biking, or running, I could help. I was the president of the triathlon club at college and have been racing for years. I also carry a hacky sack with me everywhere, and I've played guitar since I was 10.
