ABOUT ME

We love life and want to live it to the full! We love to be able to contribute positively and make our world a better place, even if just in the little things.... Like Mother Teresa once said, 'What we are doing is nothing but a drop in the ocean. But if we didn't do it, the ocean would be less because of that missing drop'.

We love our family and friends, and adore spending time with them. We enjoy meeting new people, and learning from other people's experiences in life as well as our own. We're not the 'partying' type, but we do love spending quality time with those dear to us!
It seems so cliche to say, but the statement 'the simple things in life are often the best' really is so true. Nothing is more important to us than relationship.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have not had any couch surfing experiences as yet; we only just found out about it recently! We love the concept; what a great way to get to know people you may never have come to know otherwise! Once we get back from our trip overseas we would like to be able to open up our spare room to other 'couch surfers'.
My husband travelled to South East China earlier this year and met a couple of Swedish tourists who came to Australia not long after. They ended up staying with us for a couple of nights! We had the most wonderful time- we took them swimming, snorkelling, to the local wineries and to a wildlife sanctuary! Had the most amazing couple of days showing them the sights, and they had absolutely loved it! Would love opportunity to do this again...... Enriches the lives of all involved!

Interessen

One of the things we love most is spending time with family and friends. We also love the ocean; taking our dog for walks along the beach, exploring new places and having adventures. Love entertaining and opening our home up to others, as well as taking time out to rest and reflect on the things that truly matter in life!
We are both reasonably active; love swimming, snorkelling, walking and going on adventures eg camping trips etc.

We volunteer at a food trailer once a week nearby to where we live, serving dinner, tea, coffee and a good chat with those less fortunate in our area.
