ABOUT ME

in brief: we are a family of 5. we live in a house in øystese, by the hardanger fjord, covered in apples, lots of rain, amazing nature.
my husband, anders, i met in trondheim 10 years ago and am still in love. he is a danish traditional wooden boatbuilder.
i finished my masters thesis in arabic.
We have 3 children, a ten year old daughter and twins, they will be 8 in nov.

Interessi

life is busy here, we love to cook new things, we are avid users of cookbooks of all kinds, from "Rebar" to "Mastering the Art of French Cooking", to Italian Specialities. We create and craft, with wood, wool and silk.
we travel and teach the kids how to swim, ski, ride and bicycle!
a little yoga, tango, freediving, walks, drinking good cortados, reading all the international newspapers online.
we try to eat organically, when we can afford it. we use cloth diapers. we recycle.we take jasmin up to ride Lotus, the pony. we make applesauce, homemade roast beef and Lebanese Hummus and drink all kinds of tea. our favourite- jasmin pearls.

i am raising the kids in the waldorf approach, natural living, the importance of childhood and rituals and wonder. Homeschooling and all the crafts, magic, music and waldorf outlook I can cram into one day, all mixed in with a little Zen-Buddhism.

For my part, Natalia, giving birth for starters. there is nothing more wonderful, unpredictable or exhilarating than that.
Second up is living in Yemen, studying and pregnant, it was an incredible happy and content period of my life. amazing country. go, before it is too late!
