I like to give attention on the space between us, and to be surprised by what might emerge from that awareness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All the couchsurfers I met so far were nice people. Some of them veeeery nice.

Interests

One of the things I am interested in: Are you able to hold different perspectives simultaneusly? Can you be focused and wide open at the same time?

Apart from that..
* I'm interested in spiritual and personal development (all kinds of methods for transformative learning, family constellations, deep ecology, tantra, conscious kink, integral philosophy, We-space work, etc.) I believe one of the best meditation practices is taking a very, very slow walk through a forest.
* Interactive/immersive theatre performance, live art and dialogical art are the most interesting forms of artistic expression to me. It starts to be really interesting when the borders of "art" and "everyday life" begin to dissolve..

* What excites me the most are connections of both fields mentioned above.

The world is a complex thing. To face the challenges of our time, I believe it is highly necessary to build bridges and connect people of all origins, all genders, all sexual (non-)orientations, in every (non-)relationship, from all classes, with all kinds of bodies, and all kinds of political views. It's normal to be different.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is so much interesting art of so many different styles around.. Thank god. So these things change constantly as well..

I particularly like immersive performative arts, like projects by Nesterval, Poste Restante, or Punch Drunk.
I like a lot of musical genres. At the moment I listen to Pram, Django Reinhardt, Hesperion XXI, Kofelgschroa, and a collection called Excavated Shellac.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching my little nephew throwing stones into a small river. He did that for almost an hour..

done:
No talking for 10 days at a Vipassana meditation retreat in the Apennine mountains, Italy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play the jew's harp, up to four at the same time - in case anyone would be interested in this : )

Also I might share an open eyes meditation technique, great as a morning practice for example. It's a combination of integral meditation and awakening interbeing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a good listener, and I am able to open up to strangers quite fast. In my experience, these are good ingredients for creating meaningful conversations.
