ABOUT ME

All about me: OK! So far: Born 'n raised in Berlin, Germany. Enjoyed happy youth, went to high-school and stuff. I used to play a lot of basketball and did many others sports, I have also always been politically active during school and college though I couldn't decide for a party to join yet. I love going out, party and meet new people. I travelled a lot so far, I had the awesome opportunity to do an exchange high school year to Pennsylvania, where I lived with a Latter Day Saint family- which was a very interesting experience coming from a rather progressive and not very religious background. I am currently still enrolled in college (my mayor is industrial engineering) - but I have been traveling for 1.5 years now (German University is for free :) )I mainly choose my mayor because I am very interested in economics and I also wanted to get involved with renewable energy systems. During college I have travelled so far to Ecuador, Morocco, all around Europe, studied in Hoboken, NJ, USA for one year and then Canada, BC, where I lived and worked in Vancouver and Whistler. Now I'm back in Berlin and HOSTING!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in San Francisco, LA, San Diego and Las Vegas. All of them were amzing hosts and helped us a lot. Right now I'm hosting and I'm loving it too. Except maybe for washing the sheets all the time, so bring sleeping bags!!!!

Movies (In no particular order): Tarantino- and David Lynch Movies, The Flight of the Conchords, Heat, The Godfather and other Mafia Movies, Closer, Burn after reading

Music: I love electronic music but also indie, classic rock, punk and some rap music. I.n.p.o: Santigold, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pixies, Seeed, Ricardo Villalobos, Royksop, Tiefschwarz, The Knife, The Breeders, Amy Winehouse, Feist!!!, The Ramones, The Beatles, Bob Marley of course, Booka Shade ok, now I am just reading out my iTunes library - but u get the idea!

Books: I read quiet a lot, fiction, plays as well as non fiction. I think one of my favorites is 'The Buddenbrooks' by Thomas Mann, I also love the lord of the ring trilogy, books by Charles Buckowsk or Michel Houellebecq, Plays by Shakespear, right now I am reading No Logo by Naomi Klein

Actually, I always loved to teach and share knowledge. I jobbed as a tutor for economic politics in college for undergrads. I am also giving private tutoring lessons in English, German, Physics and Math since I am about 16.
