My current mission is to be happy travelling, working, playing and chilling.

ABOUT ME

I am a cyclist that loves to bike tour. My favortie trips have been cycling around Haida gwaii and from vancouver to San Deigo.
I also love to make things- sewing and crafting especially excite me. I love to picnic, eat good vegan food, go to indie rock shows and watch the sunset. I used to live in a communal house and enjoy the DIY sort of lifestyle that was practiced there. I am an early childhood educator and work at the university of British Columbia. I am interested in alternative education methods and young children

PHILOSOPHY

My partner-Mike and I are pretty chill. We both love our jobs and are happy people. We have 2 cats that we also love. We are not into drama or partying although we love to have some beer and wine and laugh a lot.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I don't have a place to offer but will change this when I get a bigger apartment.
I can give good advice about local cool stuff. Best vegetarian places to eat, shop for local diy handmade goods, where to thrift and where to hit up amazing natural beauty.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I rode my bike to San Deigo I stayed with amazing couch surfers in San Francisco that told amazing stories about riding the rails across the country. They were friendly and amazing.
We hosted some wonderful americans recently that gave us good haircuts and brought us amazing food from their garden. we feasted like kings with super groovy haircuts.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a book I can laugh at. Big fan of david sedaris. We like all kinds of music with an emphasis on indie rock, garage rock and pop music from the 60's and 70's. In terms of movies we enjoy old black and whites from the 40's and 50's especially film noir, animation such as Persepolis and silly movies like superbad. We both love wes anderson movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode my bicycle from Vancouver to San Diego. I loved riding through the redwood forests of northern california. It was so peaceful and beautiful.
