About Me
CURRENT MISSION
If wisdom is knowledge through experience, we are, currently, seeking experience
ABOUT ME
Our mothers were friends in the 70s and we became (reluctantly) friends after canoeing through Wabakimi Provincial Park in Northern Canada the summer after out Junior year in High School. Since then, we have (both together and apart) taken to the wilderness, adventures, and meeting new people in new places. Earlier this summer (over a box of Franzia and some corn on the cob at a BBQ, during a day off from leading youth on canoeing and backpacking trips) we decided we both wanted a break from insitituional education and decided that we would really rather be experiencing the world and decided that there was no good reason not to travel to New Zealand on the meager wages we make doing our jobs.
So, though we have never been couch surfing hosts, we are (very much so) hoping to see as much and meet as many people as we can during our travels and are quite exicted to, hopefully, return the favor once (if...) we get back to the states
PHILOSOPHY
"I am lost, and I rejoice in the openness. I cannot decide where to go, so for now, I will dance where I am and be. There is no goal, no destination, just wilderness and life and being. I sing and dance and live in the wilderness, and I am home" -Dance of the Tzipora

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
