ABOUT ME

I currently live with my best friend, Natasha, and our 2 kittens (Picasso and Neruda).I'm an introverted extrovert. I actually enjoy being by myself, which is not to say that I don't like being with others. I can't have the same hair colour for too long or I get antsy. My dream job would be to own a small used bookstore, but I would also love to be a Librarian. I like the smell of books, both old and new. I love the sound feet make - on gravel, barefoot - and yet feet themselves gross me out. I love cold rainy days. When I get mad, I go to my happy place. My happy place is in a meadow on a pleasantly breezy, yet sunny day, sitting under a tree. I'm messy. I'm somewhat of a pack rat. I like to be organized, and I like to colour code my Moleskin. I like the colour gray. I write Haikus. At work.

Music - i never know what to say to this question. most people are really crazy about their music, but i have more favorite songs then i do bands and/or singers. even still: Billie Holiday, Leonard Cohen, Aretha Franklin, The Beatles, Damien Rice, The Donnas, Fefe Dobson, Gavin DeGraw, Heart, Johnny Cash, Meat Loaf, Modest Mouse, Peaches, Queen, Reel Big Fish, Spice Girls, The Streets, Tegan & Sara, Violent Femmes, Weezer, The White Stripes ...ect

T.V. - i hardly get any time to even watch t.v. anymore, so this is going off of memory: ANTM (yup), The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Dark Angel, Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High, Jeopardy, My So-Called Life, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Sex and the City, Gilmore Girls, sadly Gossip Girl and TMZ.

Movies - because i'm a loner, i'm really into movies. I like pretty much anything with Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, or Heath Ledger in it, or anything written, acted, or directed by Kevin Smith. Brokeback Mountain, Chasing Amy, Untamed Heart, Say Anything, Gidget, Gidget Goes Hawaiian, An Evening With Kevin Smith, Death to Smoochy, Sabrina, She's The Man, All About Eve, Borat, Da Ali G Movie, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Holiday, Mallrats, Scream 1&2, Charades, Titanic, V for Vendetta, and many, oh so many more. trust.

Books - i could no sooner choose a star in the heavens than a favorite book. Chuck Palahniuk. John Irving. Jacqueline Susann. Oscar Wilde. Shakespeare. Virginia Woolf. Jane Austen. Annie Proulx. Tom Perrotta. Douglas Coupland. Pablo Neruda's sonnets burn holes into my soul.
