ABOUT ME

Now, I only sort of mean my current mission statement. I do enjoy sleep. I do. But I like the idea of not waiting...there's so much life to be had! Just go out and get it! I was out having a beer with someone last night and just talking about all the possibilities makes me so excited! So, why waste your time sleeping through life when you'll get all the sleep you'll ever need when you die? I enjoy down time (and sleep!!!) just as much as the next person, but I believe that in your "steady state condition" one ought not be asleep.

PHILOSOPHY

This is it. True, it may sound irresponsible, but life is far too short to spend your days redundantly unhappy.

Interests

Classic rock, blues (music in general), groundwater, beer, laughs, good food, good company and that one, crisp memorable breeze. Also, sports, cards, and billards.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not sure I can pick just one--but thinking back about all the times that I've been on a field site or somewhere completely isolated...I mean, you look around and see no person for miles, but then you look to your side and see the person you came there with and feel a renewed since of self, belonging, and community, just by recognizing the simplicity of it all.
