ABOUT ME

I am Easy going warm and enthusiastic person with a good sense of humour. I definitely can't live without music as it nourishes my soul and keeps me fairly sane,I also need my fix of the great outdoors at least one day a week. Love City's with all they have to offer but only for a few days. Really like to meet new people with a story to tell and maybe something to teach me as learning something new can be inspiring, fun and can also send you in a totally new direction that you had never considered.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell every one that might find it useful about Couch Surfing and have supported it from the start and was pleased to contribute at the beginning to ensure it's development and expansion. I have not been able to host as yet as I work away from home six days a week,but I am really looking forward to hosting when I reduce my work load later next year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch Surfed for the first time on my trip to Australia in 2012 and I had the best time with the kind people that hosted me. An Excellent and a most positive experience that made my visit to OZ all the more memorable and immeasurably more enjoyable and I gained some new friends along the way that I still keep in contact with to this day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Total Solar Eclipse on a crystal clear day in northern France, absolutely stunning and as a one off experience it's a very hard thing to beat - Totally ore inspiring

I know this is a second thing but in early May 2017 I took my 80 year old mum up to the summit of Mount Snowdon on a perfect beautiful still clear and sunny day ( only a few of these a year ) where we could see for miles and the childlike look of wonderment on her face was something I will never forget ( See Pic ) Just proves you are never too old to have new experiences.
