I'm working as a breakfast dj at the local radio station at Yle Västnyland, www.svenska.yle.fi/vastnyland

The station is in Ekenäs, at the coast of southwestern Finland. I also live here after moving back from the capital Helsinki, where I lived for 11 years.

It's been many years since I last hosted or used couchsurfing, but I have many great memories from fellow surfers. I'm still in contact with some of the people I've meet during my travels.

At my spare time I like to hang with people of all kinds. I'm part of a creative collective in Ekenäs called Spinneriet, www.spinneriet.fi

I've always been a shy person, but traveling helped me become more confident and social. Beer also helped me with that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It started with saving money, but I soon realized that it really is the best way to travel.

You meet local people that can show you the real, local life. I don't need to see flashy things, the normal and natural is always the best.
