About Me

To collect beautiful experiences

I like to spend my time looking at maps and walking around with no particular destination. I have an obsession with discovering new places... new to me, at least. I read all the time, I watch movies all the time, I'm always singing in my head (and constantly making up lyrics to Turkish songs by Tarkan). I smile waaay too much.

I talk to strangers all the time, they keep finding me. I also love, love, love photography, and I dedicate lots of time to it whenever I can. Dancing is also a big passion of mine, music in general, I suppose, and languages. I want to learn as many as I can.

I believe in balance and gray areas, life cannot be black or white.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Showed some wonderful people around Paris, had the best falafel of my life and experienced the culture of Sevilla just the way I had dreamed

Meeting people, exploring new places, listening to fascinating stories, and telling my own quirky ones. I then proceed to take photographs and write a bit.

Hablar así toda la noche, sentados en el suelo, mirando hacia el techo (o el cielo), mientras alguno de los presentes toca una guitarrita y alguien va narrando historias... Eso me encanta.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: anything by Almodóvar, Where Do We Go Now, Il Postino.

Music: Flamenco, Jazz, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Rock, House, Folk, R&B... I don't really discriminate when it comes to music.

Books: Dostoevsky, Proust, Otero Silva, Dumas, Wilde, Cortázar, Borges, Rulfo, García Márquez, Kundera... I also enjoy reading non-fiction, particularly autobiographies and history books.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish and maaaany songs in many languages. I can teach salsa, too, and other dances.

I want to learn anything you want to teach, but if you know anything about photography, I'll be eternally grateful if you share with me your knowledge.
