ABOUT ME

Wil-I am a big animal nut. I have been working in zoos throughout Queensland for the last 7 years. I mainly deal with reptiles in which i focus on my true passion, snakes. Apart from that, I like to fight crime and bring justice to those who deserve it!
Mel- Firstly I believe my darling wil is being extremely modest when it comes to describing himself:) hes bloody fantastic and his passion and exuberance and knowledge of all animals, especially reptiles, is vastly impressive and admirable & never ever dull:) Neway about moi, well I am a bit of an all rounder I have many different interests. I have a phenominal interest in fashion particularly shoes!!!!!! I have studied fashion and can sew, pattern make and draw/design, I love being creative. I enjoy looking through cooky op shops ie charity stores, and finding all sorts of weird and interesting items:) I love the era 1920's for its opulence and amazing outfits, particularly the ones that have shimmy fringing on them and beading detail. I love smells/aromas(only nice ones) ie spices, perfumes, flowers, leather, rain, coffee beans. I am extremely interested in historic buildings, I love the history behind them and the character they ooze and would love to restore them. I could probably go on and on but I will stop and wait until we meet and then tell you more heha:)

Wil- Nothing's impossible. Improbable, unlikely maybe, but never impossible!
Mel- I believe in always trying new things and not being closed minded, and your never to old to do crazy and ridiculous things.

Mel- fashion(shoes but not limited to) dressing up in crazy costumes, reading, conversing on numerous topics with wil:), all genres of music, gardens, horticulture, historic buildings, rollerskating with wil, learning about new things, travelling, the english language(different accents) possumey poo(our pet possum).

Music, Movies, and Books

Wil-Scooter! Yeah!, Animal Doco's, Superhero/Sci-Fi movies.
Mel- Amalie, A clockwork orange, my fair lady, dance movies musicals. I enjoy all genres of music and love finding new music or a song I heard once. All books I love libraries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wil-I have done and seen a lot of amazing things when it comes to wildlife. There are too many to pick just one.
Mel- I have lived and grown up in one of the most uniquely diverse and pristine places, cairns. It has world heritage rainforest, the Great barrier Reef, Inland has desert. It has such a fantastic array of wildlife and is seen as a international holiday destination because of all these.

Teach, Learn, Share

Wil-I love teaching people about Australian Native Animals, especially reptiles!
Mel- I would like to teach people about appreciating the australian environment and what to consider when travelling to a completely different country. ie why we have certain laws and so on.
