Simple goal of meeting everyone, going everywhere, eating everything.
I have been off the site for a while. Popped in today to check it out and man is this site fucked up! What happened? itis so user unfreindly. And that inbox set up! What was it put together as an elementary school science fair project? WTF?
I'm an easy going non-smoker (But not militant or bothered by others that smoke outside), well mannered and clean person. respectful, and friendly.
I love meeting new people and exploring new places off the beaten path, and exposing people to those out of the way places I know of.
I am gay, not currently in a relationship, not that it should matter or that I'm looking to hook up, just saying to have it out in the open.
I live a sort of "On The Road" type of life; always trying to keep moving forward, keep learning, keep growing, and be alive all the time.
I do this in a mostly introspective way.
I am not a religious person, but I see life and the world with a somewhat Buddhist philosophy, while avoiding organized religion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am looking forward to doing some extensive travel in the future and look forward to surfing and meeting good people around the world. So far these last few years it's been all about the world coming to me. I love the CS culture and the people I meet.
Have hosted from almost all over the world now. I've surfed only a few times so far, but will definitely be traveling more soon. Looking forward to more and more experiences.
art, music, I read constantly; almost any book with a title that starts, "The History of...," biographies and cook books
Obviously I like history and cooking,
theater and travel There's more, but those are the interests that immediately come to mind.
- scuba diving
Music, Movies, and Books
Like I said above, cook books, histories, My tastes in movies and music are too varied to list. I like a lot of different things at different times for different reasons. I'm always eager to learn about new things from other people, too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Did my first Sky dive recently at the encouragement of a CSer staying with me. Cliff diving in Croatia, living summers at a time in Tuscany. being the first one up in the morning on the Left Bank in Paris and walking the empty streets, Biennale in Venice, kayaking and swimming with sea turtles in Hawaii, going to Antwerp just for a weekend, Amsterdam, Berlin, New York City, skiing in Colorado..., the most amazing thing though I guess is my daughter and the times we spend together.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy sharing what I know about New York City, art, history, cooking, photography, and am open to whatever there is that you want to talk about or have to share with me.
