ABOUT ME

I am someone! I am a man just like you. No less, no more. I think, feel, smile, laugh, cry, suffer just as you do. So treat me like you'd like to be treated. Show me your smile, and I'll show you mine. Give me your friendship, and I'll be your friend. Give me love, and I'll love you back.

PHILOSOPHY

I see life as a journey. At the begining it's full of promises and possibilities. But when you start to get trough it, it's the choises you make, the events you encounter and the ones you meet along the way, that shape you as a person. At any point you can compromise with yourself and take the paved road, or you can decide to take the narrow path, which leads straight to your purpose. So I'm basically taking this journey called life to find out who I really am :) Wouldn't describe myself as a rational person. I'm skeptical, when I seek to understand something new (just can't take anything for granted). But when I truly believe in something, logic and reason are incapable of dissuading me. My personal philosophy is one of love and acceptance. I reject violence, hatered and greed, for those are the downfalls of humanity. Every life has a value, so appreciate yours and help those less fortunate than you. I don't think money is essential for living a good life. Much more important is to have freedom and peace. And these can't be bought nor can be granted trough political means. For they're states of mind and it's up to every man for himself to reach them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed for a few nights chez Oliver in Rotterdam. It was great! I haven't travelled much abroad since :\ I'm eager to acquire more experience!

Music is a great inspiration in my life! I like mostly instrumental stuff - Jazz, rock, blues, funk, reggae, dub, Bossa Nova. I also enjoy eastern classical and various kinds of folklore music. Here are some of my favourites:

Some of my favourite writers: G. Orwell, J.R.R.Tolkein, C. Chaplin (got to love his autobiography), J. Steinbeck (Cannery Row is my personal favourite), Jack London, the sufi poetry of Omar Khayyám and Rumi, Thor Heyerdahl, J.R. Kipling, J. Keruac, C. Castaneda. As far as psychology is concerned, I like the humanists Erich Fromm and Viktor Frankl and the transpersonal concepts of C.G.Jung. Stanislav Groff is another interesting author, but I've yet to explore his works :) I can also recommend some bulgarian authors that I love: Hristo Botev, Geo Milev, Peyo Yavorov, Yordan Radichkov, Ludmil Yankov.

I'm looking to exchange thoughts and experiences with you people, so we can teach each other. I'm interested in learning about music and playing instruments, sound recording tecs, understanding different cultures and customs, learning languages, discovering philosophical and spiritual concepts. I can boast of what I know about psychology :) I sincerely hope I can teach everyone love and undrestanding :) Beside that, I can share stories and experiences, maybe teach you some bulgarian if you're interested.
