About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Sing, dance and create.

ABOUT ME

I have been living in Bristol since moving there to study art in 2006. My mother is German, my dad Swiss but I have lived in the UK for most of my life. I try to fit in any traveling whenever possible and my dream would be to combine it with work, more specifically art. I am currently focused on being part of an artist collective named the 'Bristol Diving School' and we are active in creating collaborative work and undertaking various different projects both locally and internationally. Most recently we did a project in Den Haag in the Netherlands and we also lived in a little town in British Columbia, Canada called Nelson where we spent our time learning about the properties of local plants, an instrument called a canjo, astronomy and more! The traveling and art dream came true!

PHILOSOPHY

Do what makes your heart sing

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I have time I am happy to put up surfers and I have met and been hosted by various members of the community whilst on my more recent travels to the USA and Europe. I really appreciate meeting new people from different cultures and getting a new perspective on life by doing so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The most extensive couch surfing that I have done was in the USA in 2009 with my boyfriend, Johannes. We traveled around California, met some amazing, happy and inspiring people and even made it to Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert which was out of this world!

Interests

Very easy going and love dancing, exploring, singing, cooking, eating, hiking, swimming, gardening, foraging, learning and experiencing new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love a range of genres... I'm especially big on electronic/house/jazzy/disco/instrumental/fusion music. (And always excited to be introduced to interesting new artists.) Have also recently discovered a Georgian Choir in Bristol, of which I have recently become a member, which opens up a whole new world of wonderful archetypal polyphonic harmonies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to different continents. Meeting wonderful people.
