To finish University!

ABOUT ME

I finished high school in '07 and spent my gap year travelling the world with my mum! It was by far THE best experience of my life! I am currently at University (which I am sure will be the death of me!) studying a bachelor of business (Tourism, leisure and events management major :D). I'm generally bright and happy and love to meet new people! I have been re-introduced into the world of reading and am hooked! I love a good movie or conversation and can't wait to get back to the travelling way of life!

PHILOSOPHY

I now believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but your self And sometimes Good things fall apart, so better things can fall together I’ve learnt that goodbyes will always hurt.. Pictures will never replace having been there... Memories good or bad will bring a tear. And words can never replace the power of feeling what you truely love. The biggest mistake you can make in your life... Is to drift away, from the ones you love

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am no longer in Cairns but my mum loves the company and would like to show you all around and put you up no doubt! as for me - I'm on the sunshine coast sooo if you are ever down my way I will be sure to put you up and show you the amazing beaches!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mum and I used couch surfing towards the end of our epic around the world trip (firstly due to monetary problems!) but then loved it for the experience! We couch surfed mainly through the state and stayed with some of the coolest people yet!

Interests

I love to dance - studied ballet, jazz and tap and a little irish for about 10 years and have missed it ever since.. I love the beach and thrive on the company of others! I now am a lover of travel and stuck with the travel bug but loving every minute of it! I love watching movies and taking photos where ever when ever i can and hope to maybe pursue it at some stage in the future. I love learning new things and laughing is always my top priority.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love chick flicks and the good ole classics but always willing to have a watch of everything.. and am a lover of all music, it gives me an escape from reality if only for a little while..and on this trip i have been brought back to reading...a lot which is good...i have come across a favourite - Jodi Picoult which i would reccomend in a heartbeat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling is one of the most amazing experiences of my life! Everywhere i've gone has opened my eyes to new and exciting things..

So far my favourite place has been Africa and i will never forget the incredible month we were there. I hope to go back ASAP!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that travelling is the best source of knowledge you can get! i learnt so more from travelling the world than i have ever learnt from any books or teachers in the past 12 years!! But stuck studying which is good I must admit to re-open my brain but it is a LOT harder than i ever expected!
