ABOUT ME

I grew up and lived in The Netherlands most of my life. At 17 I traveled to Asia and Australia for a 6 month surfing trip. Not only I have spent an excellent time back then, but during my trip I developed a love for Asia. Back in The Netherlands I studied hotel management, currently I am studying organizational science in Amsterdam. In Amsterdam I decided to head back to Thailand to write my thesis. Currently finishing up my thesis, I will start looking for a job in Bangkok anytime soon.
I love traveling and foreign cultures, hence my decision to start an new life in Bangkok. A drawback from leaving my home country is not having my friends and family around. I don't feel Dutch, I feel like somebody from this world and love to see different cultures blend. Besides my passion for sailing and surfing I pretty much like the usual! My dream is to, one day, have my own hotel after some years of working in a large organization after 8 years of studying my ass off!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend in Amsterdam lives on a beautiful boat in one of the most beautiful canals in Amsterdam. She meets up with other coach surfers on a regular basis and introduced me to CS. So I have squat experience, I just know someone who is a member of CS

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

There's a lot of movies i like, what can I say...???? I just don't like bullshit movies. I like electronic music (minimal, electro and more laid back sounds). I read novels, any type. Personal favorite; The World According to Garp, John Irving. Just read; The Glass Palace, Amitav Ghosh.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Just a few weeks ago I had to share a small bed with two Vietnamese farmers somewhere high up in the mountains of Central Vietnam, cause I was unable to drive any further on my motor bike. Stranded... Excellent!
