Music, Movies, and Books

well first off, i'm a deadhead through and through. that was the origin of my wanderlust. although i appreciate other so-called jam music derived from the dead, it's not really my thing anymore. that said, i've seen more sci and wsp shows than i can count and have a very special place in my heart for both of them. but here, in no particular order, are the genres i prefer: bluegrass, jazz, funk, fusion, old soul, early rock n roll, classical of all eras (except most contemporary...blech!), opera, old school and independent hip hop (and the occasional top 40...guilty pleasure, i'm not gonna lie), good folk, fabulous guitar (think steve kimock and leo kottke), the right kind of punk rock (DK!), quality reggae, talking heads, lou reed... there's more i know but i can't think to list them!

Regarding movies, i don't watch enough of them. let's rent some of your favorites! things i do love on screen though: marx brothers, chaplain and keaton, loony toons...

And books, i'll read anything, but i'm a huge shakespeare nerd. mostly, though, i read non fiction with a bent towards social justice.
