ABOUT ME

I am a traveler and have a need to see and taste the world, right now i am alternating between student and professional and finding it difficult to take the itch out of my wandering feet. I am an artist with no defined medium, be it listening to music or friends stories or painting or knitting or writing. I like to create things, most of all friendships. I really like to laugh with people and find out new things about the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have traveled on and off for awhile and heard whisperings of the greatness of couchsurfing but had never previously logged on. so i am new to this world and have high hopes for this community. I love being around travelers and hearing their stories, so i would happily love to host a passer through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never traveled with couchsurfing before, but have met tons of people who have and am excited for the experience.

Interests

watching sunsets and sunrises, cookies, baking things, making art, hammocks, mimosas, my cat, the people i love, listening to live music in the early morning,riding my bike through early morning mists, learning about bikes and banjos, climbing trees, planting things, ecstasy, swimming naked, stories, helping people, learning, new smells and tastes, culture shock, snuggling, laughing so hard i cant breathe, novelties, novels, poetry, eating and laughing with folks around a big table, savoring everything, swing sets, (the list goes on)

woah, theres so many! books: anything by tom robbins or babara kingsolver but specifically poisonwood bible and even cowgirls get the blues, shantaram, kurt vonnegut, catch-22, the rapture of canaan, movies: mulan rouge, the wooden camera, slum dog millionaire, documentaries,harold and maude MUSIC: too much music put into this tiny box

Teach, Learn, Share

some medicinal native plant knowledge of the pacific northwest, some energy hearing (reiki)skills, a pretty bodacious back massage, yummy dinner, cookie recipes, listening skills, coffee knowledge, hiking and camping, some first-aid skills, some knitting, painting and crafting of things, happiness and love
