ABOUT ME

38 years old, or sometimes 12 years young..depending on my big box of legos.
I`m single, and loving every moment of it, except at couples-dinners, when i`m always left at the end of the table, constantly having to ask for the salt. Single people have feelings too!

I moved to Lofoten in 2011, to work as an architect in a small firm. Stayed for two years and meet some amazing people. I have now moved to Aurland in the Sognefjord, and still finding it incredible that Norway is such an amazing scenic country.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to think that if you are in possession of a little empathy, humor and willingness to give a damn, then everyone around you will join in.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do this because i see the value of helping out other people wanting to travel, experience and learn. I may not leave chocolate on your pillow, like hotels, but being a part of this community, gives me the pleasure of helping others, and meeting interesting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got into this after couchsurfing in Groningen,Netherlands with a friend of mine. we stayed at this cool girls place, and she was just so amazingly nice to us. So i thought, why have`nt I`ve been doing this before. So, as i have a couch, and some spare time in the evenings, there is no reason for not doing this :)

Being an architect, the field of interest is, well, everything, so.. But my main focus is on middle-eastern architecture, sosial living and culture. I admit i have`nt travelled much, but living in the middle-east is something i am trying to pursue. Living in Aurland, it is impossible not to go hiking in the mountains. and i would like to try out kayaking. besides that, most of my time revolves around my work, and fixing up a family farm not too far from my home.
