always positive. currently i'm working as an english teacher in warsaw and it still baffles me how much more i actually learn from my students than they do from me. did you know that guinea-pigs jump when they're happy? that's just one of the latests facts unveiled by a student of mine. oh, and if you meet me, i can bring you luck, coz my name's a palindrome!

i like it when i find my favourite sock which i thought i had lost behind the washing machine.

my friends say it's lame and they hate me for the fact that we usually spend thursday nights in the same bar, but i really like doing karaoke.

i also like it when around february i can get rid of my winter coat and then i find some coins in the pocket of my spring coat.

i also like smelling new books. and entering a bookshop.

and when i wake up with a hangover and then it appears that there's a bottle of water just next to my bed.

i also like it when my dear cat climbs my bed around 5am every single night and starts mieowing

surprisingly enough(not) i like reading (travel) reportages by polish guys. i like hugo-bader, tochman, szabłowski and szczygieł. when it comes to english literature, i very much appreciate anything written by anne fadiman.as for music, i don't like talking about it, i like listening to people talking about it. or i might just tell you what's been on my mp3 player for a while now: wild nothing, cut copy, best coast, pavement, james blake, toro y moi, the boat that rocked ost and grizzly bear.films? i'm a freak. i like sad films, especially by inarritu, but yesterday i watched a terrible romantic comedy starring cameron diaz. beat that.
