ABOUT ME

I am just a normal guy with relatively good education, satisfying job and happy young family (me, my wife and our two small boys) living in flat on 6th floor of a block in an average city in the middle of Europe...
I am quite conventional in my life practice.
Some of my ideas are not quite conventional, I would say, but at the same time I am too responsible for my family and my work, so I definitely will not travel around the world this year.
However, I am ready to meet people in my flat and share experiences with them...

PHILOSOPHY

I am an observer. Also I am a creator.
I am trying to understand rules of this world and then to build up something amazing - either following the rules perfectly or refuting them totally.
I am not establishing my own truths, considering such activity to be silly.
I am not searching for ordained truths to adhere to, considering such activity to be even sillier.
Having no system of truths built inside my head I have nothing like this to teach others. Hope you will appreciate it! ;-)
Finally, I want to spend my life loving and being loved, helping others while I can and getting help when I really need it... though, in case of excessive injustice I still can get cruel.
And I think refusing children is blamable - especially if one had loving parents and no comparable altruistic alternative!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a novice here and I am not really interested in searching for a couch right now.
Concerning travelling, I am quite conventional in fact.
Leaving country is limited to business trips and family vacations in my case...
Maybe I will change this with help of CouchSurfing soon.

Interests

I am dedicated to my family = my wife and two small boys, taking care for all what they need and getting lot of love and fun from them...
I am working as a team leader in an IT company, taking care for projects running there...
I spend time trying to make my view wider, I am interested basically in any area of life.
I am discussing all aspects of life with friends and even with strangers...
I am using my invention whenever possible.
I love to crete new things - from relationships to paintings or a piece of software...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
I am rarely visiting cinemas these days.
I like independent (French, Scandinavian, Central-EU or even old US films) or sci-fi (the best are Russian - must see Stalker or Solaris ;) films.
I am interseted in fine art.
I like expressing or just nice pictures...
Music:
Jazz, Classic (esp. w. organ), Hip-Hop (lot of fun), Black Metal (love doomy sound mixed with mellow vocals), Funky, lot of 80's in general, etc.
Books:
Concerning beletry, any deeper book - free of cliche - is a pleasure.
Concerning educational lit. I like to learn from authors who are able to synthesise somehow obvious facts into well fitting schemes providing me with higher level of understanding of underlying concepts and their manifesting in everyday life...

Teach, Learn, Share

Oh... what a cool idea: CouchSurfing University, a school where everyone's a student and everyone's a teacher.
However, life is the teacher - it teaches you in every minute. It is on you what kind of student you are -whether you want to learn or not.

What to teach and what to learn?
Sometimes it is better not to ask what exactly you want to learn - because you often do not know what everything you could learn.
Sometimes it is better not to offer what exactly you can teach - because you often do not know what everything you could teach.

I understand sw development, math, physics...
... and as I hope, I understand many other areas.
I would like to learn ANYTHING.
