ABOUT ME

Hey everyone!

Moved to the DC Metro area in 2012 and I am loving it! I work for a global trade management company as a trade specialist dealing with international trade compliance.

I graduated from an MA program at Gotheburg University Sweden... I moved back to the States after having lived abroad for several years. I have driven cross-country from California to Ohio and started another MA in Southeast Asian Studies which wasn't for me (Ohio sucks!) and then continued to Virginia.

I have lived around the world: Germany, Israel, USA, China, Sweden, and Vietnam...

I love traveling and have been to many part of the world. My top destination to return to is Malaysia and Indonesia!

I love scuba-diving :P And have recently begun rock-climbing.

I am a very social person and I love going out and having fun. Also big into the gym which is my second home... I love learning about peoples backgrounds and traditions, languages and cultures. :)

I am laid back and friendly, witty and sometimes crazy! I love to cook and eat well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a guy from Germany and another girl from Switzerland. Both times we had a good time. Went out for some drinks, hung out with my couch buddy friends, showed them around the tourist spots :)

There are also some couch-surfing events where I have met some cool new friends! :D

Climbed Mt. Kinabalu in Malaysian Borneo - the toughest thing I have ever done! Two day hike up 4100 meters! Stunning views!!!!
