I always want to do something NEW and EXCITING; however, due to extensive traveling and moving over the past few years, I really just want to make Paris my home. I love meeting new people and discovering different ways of life just through talking with them. Once a friend, always a friend.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started surfing in France the winter of 2008 and now want to open my place to other surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a dozen times now in Southern France (Toulouse, Aix en Provence, and Marseilles), Brussels, and Amsterdam. Each experience was unique and unforgettable! I'm falling in love with the couchsurfing community one couch at a time. The people have just been SO warm and open in their different ways and always give something new to think about and reflect on. My traveling has become so much more than just seeing the touristic sites of a city, but having great conversations and expanding my perspective on life and people and cultures. It's wonderful. One host invited me to celebrate his birthday with his friends and family and I stayed up until past 7am talking to another host about each others life experiences. This is really what it's all about.

Run a half-marathon in Paris. Snow boarded in the Alps. Jumped off cliffs from the Pont du Gard. Sang for the homeless people of Philadelphia. Busked on the streets of Paris.

If one is always willing to put themselves in others shoes and see something from their perspective, then something beautiful always results from it. I want to understand why others have certain ideas and where it comes from...I don't want to miss any opportunities in life getting to understand someone else.
